Lo strumento zonale (window) in GRASS è molto importante per tutti i moduli raster. Tutti i raster creati ex novo hanno l'estenzione e la risoluzione della zona, noncuranti della loro zona d'origine. La zona è archiviata nel file $LOCATION/$MAPSET/WIND, e definisce nord, sud, est e oves, numero di colonne, numero di righe, risoluzione verticale ed orizzontale.
E' possibile accendere e spengere la zona grass nel canvas QGIS usando il tasto Visualizza la zona Corrente GRASS .
Con Edita la zona Corrente GRASS potete aprire uno strumento nel quale potete cambiare la regione corrente e la simbologia del rettangolo sul Canvas QGIS. Quando lo strumento viene avviato, è possibile selezionare una nuova zona interattiva sul canvas QGIS.
Entrambi gli strumenti sono disponibili solo se QGIS è stato avviato dalla shell GRASS o se la variabile ambientale GISRC è stata fissata pointing to a valid GISRC (i.e. only if you are running GRASS within your mapset).

The current region (window) in GRASS is very important for all raster modules. All new created rasters have the extension and resolution of the current region, regardless their original region. The region is stored in $LOCATION/$MAPSET/WIND file, and it defines north, south, east, west, number of columns, number of rows, horizontal and vertical resolution.
It is possible to switch on/off the grass region in QGIS canvas using the Display Current GRASS Region button.
With the Edit Current GRASS Region you can open a tool in which you can change the current region and symbology of the rectangle on the QGIS Canvas. When the tool is running, it is also possible to select a new region interactively on the QGIS canvas.
Both tools are available only if QGIS was started from a GRASS shell or if the GISRC environment variable pointing to a valid GISRC file was set (i.e. only if you are running GRASS within your mapset).
